CREATIVE CONNECTION
Observe, Connect & Create
Join us at Chariclo for Creative Connection, our monthly nature-based art-making workshop
Details:
Sunday 17th May
11 am – 1 pm
@Chariclo Farmhouse, G83 8SD
£25 per person / £40 Bring a Friend
This creative art-making workshop is an opportunity to pause, slow down, and connect as we observe our surroundings and engage in a creative practice.
This session is open to all, especially those who feel they are ‘not artists’. No prior experience is required; you are invited to play, experiment, and explore your natural surroundings. Our focus is on the process, and not the outcome.
During the afternoon, you will be guided through a series of art-making practices, using a variety of materials and discovering new ways to actively observe. We will wander through the lands of Chariclo, exploring the beauty of the nature that surrounds us, the changing colours of the seasons, the shapes and the patterns of the flora and fauna. If the weather is not on our side, we will gather in the farmhouse, taking inspiration from the panoramic views and bringing the outside in, with a collection of still life objects to draw from.
Most importantly, this practice is an opportunity to switch off, to leave our phones at home and to truly observe the gifts in front of us.
We can be playful, we can experiment, and we can find flow.
*We are offering a special discount if you would like to bring a friend to Creative Connections, with 2 tickets for £40 instead of £50. Select ‘Bring A Friend’ when purchasing.
We will provide a range of art materials, including paint, pastels and paper, but please bring your materials and sketchbooks if you desire.
